Translation is a complex task which requires a combination of an excellent command of source and target languages involved and a deep knowledge of the subject area, so as to be able to deliver an accurate translation from the source into the target language.

This is why the translations we undertake, are prepared by professional and graduate translators who have the academic knowledge to work between languages and convey the message of a text as accurately as possible.

Therefore, the translation fees involved, as listed here below, reflect the level of expertise and academic knowledge required to perform the task.

3. Translation of medical reports:


This rate is the minimum and it is applied for the translation of documents with a non-specialized content (such as press articles and texts of a general nature).


This rate is the minimum and it is  applied for the translation of documents with a specialized content such as corporate documents, memorandums of association and company statutes, court judgments etc.

50 per certificate (for certificates of up to one page) and then 25€ per 250 subsequent words.

Proof reading: Minimum of 10€ per 250 proof-read words, depending on the complexity of the text.

Translation of academic certificates i.e. school leaving certificates, diplomas, degrees.


Translation of birth certificates, marriage/ divorce certificates etc.

20 per certificate (including 2 free copies) plus 2.5 for each extra copy.

25 per certificate

Certification cost:

The translation is certified by way of an affidavit made by the translator before the District Court:

Cost of Court Stamps:

4,00 € for the affidavit plus 0,50€ for each exhibit (each document attached to the affidavit). Therefore, the final certification cost will depend on the number of exhibits attached to the affidavit.

Fees also apply for the preparation of the affidavit and presentation of the translator to Court, to swear it.

Certification by the translator only: Included in the translation rate, as the case may be.


Please note that translations are certified using the translator's professional stamp, the stamp of the Pancyprian Union of Graduate Translators and Interpreters and the stamp of the International Federation of Translators bearing the translator's personal member number. These stamps are recognized on an international level and translations are accepted by official bodies both in Cyprus and abroad.

Translation work for students:

Rate to be agreed between the translator and the student on the basis of the nature of the study/ report/ dissertation/ thesis to be translated and number of pages concerned.

Re-issue of translated documents Minimum charge of 10€ per document, depending on the number of pages of the translation.
Translation of transcript of grades and results
50€ for a standard transcript (up to 4 pages long) (plus 2,5€ for each additional certified copy).

In addition to the translation fee, supplementary charges may arise from:

  • Discontinuous text, complicated layout or other forms of layout or presentation requiring additional time
  • Poorly legible copy
  • Additional terminological research
  • Certification
  • Priority work or work outside normal office hours, week-ends or public holidays

Please note that we do not accept hand written documents for translation.
